Profile and Password

Update personal profile and password settings.

Profile settings control your own account details. Password settings let you change your password when your account uses email/password sign-in.

Update Your Profile

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Review your avatar and current account information.
  4. Update your name.
  5. Review the email address shown on the form.
  6. Select Save changes.

Your name is used across assignments, comments, notifications, schedules, and team-facing activity. Use the name clients and teammates should recognize.

The email field is shown for reference and is disabled on the profile form. If your email address needs to change, an owner or administrator should review the account and sign-in setup before changing access.

Avatar

The profile page shows your avatar or initials. If avatar upload is available for the workspace, use a square image that is easy to recognize at small sizes. If no image is set, Agiled uses the first letter of your name as the fallback.

Profile Review

Review your profile after joining a new workspace, changing your name, or starting customer-facing work. Your display name can appear in assignments, comments, notifications, activity logs, and scheduling context.

If you work in multiple organizations, keep your profile name recognizable in each one. Teammates may see the same account name in comments, approvals, assigned work, chat messages, and document activity.

Danger Zone

The profile page includes a danger zone for account deletion. Treat this as a permanent account-level action, not a workspace cleanup action. If you only need to leave a workspace or remove a team member, use organization or team access settings instead.

Before deleting an account, check whether you own workflows, dashboards, projects, tasks, integrations, or documents that should be transferred first.

Account deletion is different from removing a member from one workspace. If the goal is to stop access to a specific organization, ask an owner to remove the member or change their role instead of deleting the whole account.

Change Your Password

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Password.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Enter a new password.
  5. Confirm the new password.
  6. Select Update password.

The new password must match the confirmation field and must be at least eight characters long. After a successful change, Agiled clears the password fields and shows a success message.

Password Guidance

  • Use a password that is not used in another system.
  • Prefer a password manager-generated password.
  • Do not share passwords in chat, email, tickets, or internal notes.
  • If you suspect the password is known by someone else, change it immediately.

Change the password from a trusted browser and network. If you are changing it because a shared or old device may still have access, sign out of that device or ask an owner to review sessions and workspace access.

If the password change fails, check that the current password is correct and that the new password meets the minimum length requirement.

After changing a password, sign in again on devices and browsers that should keep access. Sign out on shared or old devices that should no longer use the account.

When Password Settings May Not Apply

Some users sign in through a connected identity provider or an OAuth-based method. If your account does not use email/password sign-in, password changes may be handled by that provider instead.

Troubleshooting Profile Changes

If your name does not update in another open tab, refresh the page. If old activity still shows the previous name, check whether that activity stores the name as historical context.

If password update fails, confirm the current password, new password length, and confirmation field. If you cannot remember the current password, use password reset instead of repeated failed attempts.
