Organizations

Create or switch between workspaces.

Organizations are the workspaces your account can access.

Each organization has its own data, users, settings, billing, modules, integrations, and permissions.

Use separate organizations for separate companies, brands, legal entities, or business units that need isolated records and settings. Do not create a new organization just to separate one project or customer. Use CRM accounts, projects, permissions, and tags for that kind of internal organization.

Open Organizations

Use the workspace switcher or open /organizations directly.

What The Organizations Page Shows

  • View organizations connected to your account.
  • See which organization is current.
  • Switch into another organization.
  • Create a new organization.
  • Return to the dashboard for the current organization.

Each organization row shows the workspace name, slug or ID, avatar or logo, and a badge when it is the current workspace.

Switch Organizations

  1. Open Organizations.
  2. Find the workspace you want to use.
  3. Select Switch to this.
  4. Wait for Agiled to clear the current workspace cache and redirect you.

Switching organizations changes the active workspace for your account. The dashboard, modules, settings, billing, records, and permissions after the switch belong to the selected organization.

If Agiled redirects to a different host, that is expected when organizations use different workspace URLs or custom domains.

Before editing records after a switch, check the workspace name, logo, or URL. This prevents creating contacts, invoices, projects, or settings changes in the wrong organization.

Return To Current Dashboard

The current organization shows a Current badge and a Go to dashboard action. Use it when you opened the organization list only to confirm which workspace is active.

Create An Organization

  1. Open Organizations.
  2. Select Create organization.
  3. Enter the organization name.
  4. Review the generated slug.
  5. Edit the slug if needed.
  6. Select Create.

Agiled creates the organization, prepares access control for it, and adds it to your organization list. After creation, switch into the new organization to finish setup.

Only create a new organization when you are sure the work should be isolated from existing customers, billing settings, integrations, and team permissions. Creating duplicate organizations can split reporting and make invitations harder to manage.

Choose A Good Slug

The slug should be short, recognizable, and stable. It can be based on the company name, brand, or business unit.

Use lowercase words separated by hyphens, such as acme-consulting. Avoid temporary names, personal names for shared companies, or values that may be confused with another client or business unit.

Empty State

If the Organizations page shows no organizations, create one to start using the app. If you expected to see an existing organization, confirm you are signed in with the correct email address or ask an owner to send an invitation.

After Creating A Workspace

Set up these areas before inviting the full team:

  • workspace details and branding;
  • modules;
  • team roles and permissions;
  • billing plan and usage limits;
  • domains and public pages if customers will receive branded links;
  • finance settings before invoices or estimates are sent.

Access And Billing Separation

An organization has its own members, roles, connected apps, and billing relationship. Inviting a user to one organization does not automatically grant access to another organization. Connecting Stripe, a mailbox, or a calendar in one organization does not connect it everywhere.

When someone says they cannot see a record, first confirm the active organization. Many access issues come from being signed into the right account but the wrong workspace.
