Update Workspace Organization Details
Set the business identity used across Agiled.
Workspace organization details are reused across public pages, finance documents, email templates, and customer-facing workflows.
Treat these fields as customer-facing business identity. A small typo here can appear across invoices, estimates, booking pages, documents, and emails.
Update Organization Details
- Open Settings.
- Go to Workspace or General.
- Open the Organization tab.
- Review the business name, website, industry, phone, address, city, state, postal code, and country fields.
- Save the changes.
Keep these values accurate before sending invoices, estimates, documents, public booking links, or storefront links.
Take a screenshot or note the previous values before a legal-name, address, or phone change. If customers report mismatched identity later, the old values help you identify which template or public page still needs review.
Field Guidance
Use the legal or customer-facing business name that should appear on public documents. Use the website customers should visit for support, sales, or company verification. Use the phone number and address your team is comfortable showing on invoices, estimates, documents, and public pages.
If finance documents require a different legal address than marketing pages, do not guess. Confirm whether finance templates, regional settings, or a separate workspace should carry that difference.
What To Check Before Saving
- The business name matches the name customers should see.
- Website and phone number are current.
- Address details are formatted correctly for finance documents.
- Country and region match the legal business location.
If different brands, departments, or regions use different customer-facing identity, confirm whether they need separate templates, domains, or workspaces before changing the main organization details.
Do not use internal abbreviations in customer-facing fields unless customers recognize them. These details can appear in public flows where there is no teammate available to explain the context.
After Updating
Preview one invoice, one estimate, one document, and one public page if those modules are in use. Confirm the business name, address, phone, website, and branding still look correct wherever customers see them.
Also review email templates, booking confirmations, checkout pages, storefronts, and custom-domain pages. Organization details often appear in places users do not check every day.
If a change affects legal or billing identity, compare the next invoice or estimate preview with your accounting requirements before sending it.
If your workspace uses integrations, also review accounting, email, payment, calendar, and storefront settings. External systems may keep their own business identity separate from Agiled organization details.
Communicate Important Changes
Tell finance, sales, support, and operations when the organization name, address, website, or phone number changes. They may need to update templates, email signatures, public pages, payment instructions, or external systems.
For rebrands, update organization details before refreshing templates and public links. Then preview customer-facing flows in the order customers will see them: email, public page, document, payment, and confirmation.
When To Update
Update organization details after a legal name change, address change, phone change, rebrand, website move, or regional expansion. Also review these details before launching a custom domain or sending the first finance document.
Review Cadence
Review organization details at least before:
- first invoice or estimate
- custom-domain launch
- storefront or checkout launch
- contract/document template rollout
- major rebrand or address change
- annual finance or compliance review
