General Settings

Update organization details, regional defaults, branding, and SMTP sender settings.

General settings are the workspace-level details used across Agiled. Review these before inviting a team, sending invoices, publishing public links, or connecting customer communication tools.

Open General Settings

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to General.
  3. Use the tabs to update organization, regional, branding, or SMTP settings.
  4. Save each tab after making changes.

Organization Tab

Use the organization tab to update:

  • Workspace or organization name.
  • Logo.
  • Industry.
  • Phone number.
  • Website.
  • Organization description.
  • Street address, city, state, postal code, and country.

These details can appear in finance documents, public pages, communication templates, and internal workspace identity.

After changing organization details, preview a public page, invoice or estimate, document, and email template if your team uses those modules. Customer-facing surfaces can reveal outdated logos, addresses, or support details.

Regional Tab

Use the regional tab to set:

  • Locale.
  • Timezone.
  • Date format.
  • Time format.
  • Week start day.

Regional settings affect scheduling, calendars, reports, timesheets, finance dates, and other date-sensitive areas.

Change regional settings carefully after the team is active. Date, time, and week-start changes can affect how users interpret bookings, attendance, timesheets, reports, and finance due dates.

Branding Tab

Use the branding tab to upload light logo, dark logo, and favicon assets where available. You can also set primary and accent colors for the workspace.

Branding can affect public-facing pages, finance templates, documents, and customer links depending on the module.

After changing branding, open a public booking page, public invoice or estimate, document preview, and checkout page if your workspace uses them. Logos and colors should remain readable on both light and dark surfaces.

SMTP Tab

Use SMTP settings when your workspace sends email through a custom mail server. Add the host, port, username, password, encryption method, sender name, and sender address. Send a test email before relying on the configuration for live customer communication.

Use a sender name and address that customers recognize. If your email provider requires domain authentication, complete that setup before sending invoices, documents, booking confirmations, or workflow emails from the custom sender.

Customer-Facing Impact

General settings can appear outside the settings page. Organization name, address, logo, timezone, sender details, and branding may affect invoices, estimates, documents, booking pages, checkout links, forms, email templates, and other public links.

After changing a detail customers will see, test one live-style example from each module your workspace uses. For example, preview an invoice, open a booking page, send a test email, and open a checkout link in a private browser window.

Change Management

General settings are shared across the workspace. Before changing name, address, timezone, logo, sender, or region settings, consider what customer-facing records will show the new values.

For legal or billing address changes, preview a draft invoice and estimate after saving. For timezone changes, test a booking page and a report date range.

Review Before Inviting The Team

Before broad rollout:

  1. Confirm organization details are customer-ready.
  2. Confirm timezone, locale, date format, and week start.
  3. Upload logos and check them on light and dark backgrounds.
  4. Configure SMTP only if your provider details are ready.
  5. Send one test email.
  6. Open one public link in a private browser window.

General settings are foundational. Fixing them early prevents confusing invitations, public pages, finance documents, and email messages.
