Invitations
Accept workspace invitations and join a team.
Invitations let a workspace owner or admin add a user to the team.
What An Invitation Does
An invitation grants access to one organization. It does not move data from another workspace and it does not change the user's access in other organizations.
The invitation is tied to the email address selected by the owner or admin.
Invitation States
- A pending invitation can be accepted.
- An invalid invitation shows Invitation not found.
- An expired or already-used invitation shows Invitation unavailable.
Who Can Accept
The invite is tied to the email address shown on the invitation page. If you are not signed in, Agiled asks you to create an account with that email. If you are already signed in, Agiled asks you to accept the invitation as the signed-in user.
Before Sending Invitations
Admins should confirm:
- the invite email is correct
- the role or permissions are ready
- required modules are enabled
- the user should join this organization, not another workspace
- the invited person knows which sign-in method to use
Send one test invitation for a new role pattern before inviting a full team.
Accept While Signed In
If you are already signed in:
- Open the invitation link.
- Confirm the signed-in email shown on the page.
- Select Accept invitation.
- Agiled accepts the invite and redirects you into the organization.
If the signed-in email is not the invited email, sign out and open the invite again with the correct account.
Accept As A New User
If you are not signed in:
- Open the invitation link.
- Enter your full name.
- Review the read-only invited email address.
- Create a password.
- Confirm the password.
- Review the password strength indicator.
- Select Create account & join.
Agiled creates the account for the invited email, accepts the invitation, and routes the user into the invited organization.
Password Checks During Invite Signup
The invite signup form checks that:
- password and confirmation match;
- the password is not weak;
- the invited email is used for the account.
If the password is too weak, make it longer and less predictable before trying again.
Troubleshooting Invitations
- Invitation not found means the token is invalid or the link was copied incorrectly.
- Invitation unavailable means the invite is no longer pending. It may be expired, revoked, or already accepted.
- If acceptance fails, ask an owner or admin to resend the invitation.
- If the wrong account is signed in, sign out and reopen the invitation link.
- If you already have an account, use Log in from the invite page and then reopen the invitation link.
After Acceptance
After a user accepts, ask them to open the workspace and one module they need for work. If the module is missing, fix access before assigning records, tasks, invoices, or customer conversations to that user.
Admin Cleanup
Review pending invitations regularly. Revoke invites that were sent to the wrong email, are no longer needed, or belong to people who should not have workspace access yet. Resend an invite instead of forwarding an old link when the original recipient cannot use it.
After a batch of invitations is accepted, check role assignments and module visibility before onboarding work begins. It is easier to fix permissions before new users create records in the wrong workspace or ask for access during a live customer task.
