Switch Organizations
Move between workspaces connected to your account.
Use organization switching when your account belongs to more than one Agiled workspace.
Each organization has its own records, settings, roles, billing, and public links. Always confirm the active organization before changing settings, sending finance documents, importing data, or inviting teammates.
When to Switch
Switch organizations when you manage more than one business, belong to multiple client workspaces, or need to compare settings across environments. Do not create duplicate records in another organization just because a page looks empty; first confirm you are in the intended workspace.
Switch from the Organizations Page
- Open Organizations.
- Find the workspace you want to use.
- Select Switch to this.
Agiled clears cached workspace data and redirects you to the correct workspace URL or dashboard.
If you opened a direct link from email or chat, switch organizations first and then reopen the link. Some links only make sense inside the workspace where the record belongs.
If the link still fails after switching, confirm the record exists in that workspace and that your role has permission to open it. Organization switching does not override record or module access.
Current Organization
The active workspace shows a Current badge. Select Go to dashboard to return to its dashboard.
If you work across multiple businesses, use the current badge, workspace name, and browser URL as your confirmation before making changes.
If a Workspace Is Missing
Ask an owner or admin to invite your email address. If you accepted an invite while signed into a different account, sign out and open the invitation again with the correct email.
If you know you were invited, search your inbox for the invitation and confirm the email address on it. Workspace membership does not automatically transfer between personal and work email accounts.
After Switching
Check that navigation, dashboard data, and module access match the workspace you expected. If old data appears briefly, refresh the page after the switch completes.
If a direct link sends you back to a different workspace, open Organizations and switch manually, then reopen the link from the correct workspace context.
Before Editing Records
Before changing records after a switch, confirm three signals:
- The organization name in Agiled.
- The workspace URL in the browser.
- The data on the dashboard or module page.
This check is important before importing contacts, editing finance settings, connecting integrations, changing public links, or inviting teammates.
Work Safely Across Organizations
Before sending invoices, importing contacts, connecting integrations, changing DNS, or creating API keys, check the organization name and URL. These actions can affect customers and external systems.
Use separate browser profiles when you routinely work in production and test organizations. It reduces the chance of changing the wrong workspace.
For high-risk work, say the organization name out loud or write it in your task note before saving. This small check catches many wrong-workspace mistakes.
Troubleshooting
If switching returns you to the previous organization, sign out and sign back in with the account that belongs to the target organization.
If you see the right organization but fewer modules, your role in that workspace may have different permissions.
If data appears missing after switching, check the workspace name before creating replacement records. The records may exist in a different organization.
