Review Team Detail And Members

Open a team detail page, review department information, and manage members, managers, child teams, and positions.

Team detail pages show one department or team, its manager, members, child teams, and positions. Use this page when reporting, approvals, or employee assignment depends on team structure.

Open Team Detail

  1. Open HRM > Teams.
  2. Select a team or department.
  3. Review members, team information, positions, child teams, and manager.

If the team has no members, confirm employees are assigned to the department on their employee profiles.

Review Members

The members tab shows employees assigned to the team. Check each member's name, position, email, phone, and employment status.

Open an employee from the member list when you need to correct department, position, manager, employment status, or contact information.

Review Team Information

Check:

  • team name and code;
  • description;
  • manager;
  • parent team;
  • active status;
  • member count;
  • child team count;
  • positions.

These fields affect HR reporting, approval routing, and how employees are grouped in payroll or attendance reviews.

Edit A Team

Use edit when the team name, code, manager, parent team, description, or active status changes. Before saving, confirm the manager and parent team are correct.

After saving, review the members tab and any child teams. If a manager changes, also check leave approvals, payroll review ownership, and reporting workflows that may reference the old manager.

Clean Up Team Structure

Review teams regularly for inactive departments, duplicate names, missing managers, and employees assigned to old teams. Update employee profiles before archiving or deactivating a team.

If two teams should be merged, decide which team remains the source of truth, move employees first, then update positions, reports, and approval processes.
