Share Public Links
Safely share customer-facing links outside the workspace.
Public links let people outside your workspace submit forms, book appointments, view finance documents, sign documents, and complete checkout.
Every shared link should match the intended audience and record. Reusing a link from another customer, old document, expired estimate, or draft form can expose the wrong context or block the recipient.
Treat every public link as a customer-facing page. Test the exact link before placing it in an email, proposal, website, or campaign.
Before Sharing
Open the link yourself and confirm:
- The page loads without requiring workspace sign-in.
- Branding and business details are correct.
- Customer-facing copy is clear.
- The expected action is available.
- The page does not expose private internal information.
Use a private browser window so your signed-in workspace session does not hide access, branding, or permission issues.
Also confirm the link is the exact link you plan to share. Copying a link from a draft, old email, archived record, or previous customer can send people to the wrong page.
Where Public Links Are Used
Agiled public links can include:
- Forms
- Booking pages and event types
- Invoices and payment pages
- Estimates and estimate actions
- Documents and signing links
- Checkout links
- Storefronts
Some public links are reusable, such as booking pages, storefronts, and public forms. Others are record-specific, such as invoices, estimates, documents, and signing links. Treat record-specific links as sensitive customer links.
Link Hygiene
Share the link from the current record. Avoid reusing old copied links when a record has been edited, archived, deleted, expired, or regenerated.
Update links in email templates, website buttons, campaign tools, proposals, and saved snippets when the public URL changes.
Test By Link Type
- For forms, submit one test response and confirm the submission appears.
- For booking pages, book one internal test appointment and confirm calendar behavior.
- For invoices, confirm the amount due, payment methods, and download actions.
- For estimates, confirm accept, decline, signature, and download actions where applicable.
- For documents, confirm the correct recipient can view and sign.
- For checkout links and storefronts, confirm product, price, tax, questions, payment, and success behavior.
After Sharing
Monitor the related record. For example, check form submissions, appointment creation, invoice payments, estimate status, document signatures, orders, or checkout payments after customers use the link.
When To Replace A Shared Link
Replace public links when:
- the record was regenerated or duplicated
- the page slug changed
- the customer or recipient changed
- the document, invoice, estimate, or checkout link was archived
- custom-domain routing changed
- old website or email-template links still point to a retired page
After replacement, update every place the old link was used. This includes website buttons, email templates, CRM snippets, proposals, campaigns, and saved team notes.
Sharing Checklist
Before sharing any public link:

- Confirm the page does not require sign-in.
- Confirm the customer, recipient, product, or record is correct.
- Complete one safe test when the link accepts input or payment.
- Monitor the resulting record after the recipient uses it.
