Help customers download invoice PDFs, estimate PDFs, and public finance attachments safely.

Public finance download routes let customers download invoice PDFs, estimate PDFs, and related attachments without signing in.

Use these links when customers need a local copy of a finance document or a supporting attachment.

Downloadable Files

Depending on the shared document, customers may be able to download:

  • invoice PDF;
  • estimate PDF;
  • invoice attachments;
  • estimate attachments;
  • signature certificate after required signatures are complete.

Downloads depend on the current token and document state. If a document is deleted, replaced, expired, or no longer shared, old links may stop working.

Before sending a link, confirm:

  • the document is ready for the customer;
  • attachments are safe to share;
  • the PDF reflects the latest line items, taxes, totals, and branding;
  • the link uses the correct workspace or custom domain;
  • the link works in a private browser window.

Avoid sending internal editor URLs. Customers should receive the public invoice, estimate, or attachment link.

Customer Troubleshooting

If a customer cannot download a file:

  • confirm they are using the newest link;
  • test the link in a private browser window;
  • check whether the document or attachment still exists;
  • confirm the public token has not changed;
  • try the built-in workspace URL if a branded domain is failing.

If the browser opens the file instead of downloading it, ask the customer to use their browser's save or download control.

Internal Review

When a customer reports the wrong PDF or attachment, open the internal finance record and compare the public download with the latest saved document. If the record was edited after the original email, resend the latest public link.
