Sign In on Desktop
Connect Agiled Desktop through the browser handoff.
Agiled Desktop signs you in through your system browser. This keeps the login form, password handling, and account creation flow in the main Agiled auth surface while still connecting the desktop session.
Use the same browser profile you use for the web workspace. If the browser is signed into another Agiled account, the desktop handoff can connect the wrong user.
Sign In
- Open Agiled Desktop.
- Select Sign in with browser.
- Complete sign in in the browser window that opens.
- Wait for the browser handoff to return you to the desktop app.
- Confirm the desktop app shows Session connected or Session active.
After sign-in, compare the desktop email with the email shown in the web workspace. If they differ, sign out of desktop before using the app further.
If you manage more than one workspace, also confirm the expected organization after the handoff. The desktop session connects the account; workspace access still depends on the organizations available to that account.
Create an Account From Desktop
- Open Agiled Desktop.
- Select Create account.
- Complete the account creation form in the browser.
- Wait for the handoff to return to the desktop app.
- Confirm the signed-in user is shown in the desktop window.
Refresh a Desktop Session
Use Refresh session when:
- You completed login in the browser but the desktop window has not updated.
- You reopened the desktop app and want to confirm whether a session is still active.
- The app says No desktop session found and you want to re-check before signing in again.
If refresh still does not connect, return to the browser and confirm login completed there. Then open the web workspace with the same account. If the web workspace does not open, fix the account, invite, verification, or password issue before retrying desktop sign-in.
Do not repeatedly start new sign-in attempts without checking the browser session. Multiple unfinished handoffs make it harder to tell which account or workspace is active.
Sign Out
When a desktop session is active, select Sign out in Agiled Desktop. The app clears the current desktop session and returns to the browser sign-in prompt.
Sign out before switching browser profiles or sharing the computer. This avoids connecting a later handoff to the previous desktop session.
Common Handoff Problems
- The browser login was not completed.
- The desktop app was closed before the handoff returned.
- The wrong browser profile or account was used.
- The account can sign in but does not belong to the expected workspace.
- The operating system did not return the
com.agiled.desktopdeep link.
When troubleshooting, confirm web sign-in first, then repeat the desktop handoff. Use Sign out before switching accounts on a shared machine.
If the operating system does not return to Agiled Desktop, reopen the desktop app and use Refresh session before changing account credentials.
If a workspace invitation is still pending, accept it in the browser first. The desktop handoff connects the account session; it does not accept invitations on its own.

When reporting a desktop sign-in issue, include the desktop app state, browser account email, expected workspace, operating system, whether the web app opens, and whether Refresh session changed the result.
