Review Estimate Details
Verify estimate status, send estimates, share public links, and convert accepted estimates into invoices.
The estimate detail page is where you review one estimate before sending it, after customer review, or before converting it into an invoice. It shows the estimate paper, status, customer, totals, public link actions, send action, edit action, conversion action, and delete action.
Open an estimate from Finance > Estimates, a customer record, or a related sales workflow.
Check The Estimate Status
Start with the status. Estimate status tells you whether the estimate is still editable, waiting for customer action, accepted, rejected, or expired.
Common states include:
- Draft for estimates still being prepared.
- Sent after the estimate is delivered.
- Viewed after the customer opens the public estimate.
- Accepted when the customer approves it.
- Rejected when the customer declines it.
- Expired when the expiry date passes before acceptance.
If an estimate is expired but the customer wants to proceed, review pricing, dates, and scope before converting it.
Review The Estimate Paper
Before sending or converting, verify:
- Estimate number.
- Customer or account.
- Contact, when the estimate is for a specific person.
- Issue date and expiry date.
- Line item descriptions, quantities, prices, discounts, and taxes.
- Subtotal, tax total, and total.
- Notes, terms, and acceptance instructions.
Make the estimate clear enough that the customer can accept without asking what is included.
Send Or Resend An Estimate
Use Send estimate when the estimate is ready for customer review. The detail page can also reopen the send flow from an action link.
Before sending, confirm the recipient, subject, message, public link, and any terms that affect acceptance. If the estimate was already sent, resend only when you have changed the estimate or the customer asks for another copy.
Use The Public Link
Use the public link action to preview the customer-facing estimate or share it manually. Open the public link before sending it outside Agiled so you can check branding, line items, totals, expiry, and acceptance controls.
If the public link is unavailable, save or send the estimate first, then return to the detail page.
Convert To Invoice
Use Convert to invoice when the estimate should become billable work. If the estimate is not already accepted, Agiled can ask whether to accept and convert it in one step.
Before converting:
- confirm the customer accepted the scope
- check whether pricing or tax changed
- confirm the invoice should use the same line items
- verify any required signature or approval is complete
- decide whether project or delivery work should be created separately
After conversion, open the new invoice and review it before sending.
Edit Or Delete
Draft estimates can be edited from the detail page. Delete only estimates that were created by mistake or are duplicates with no useful sales history.
For estimates that were already sent, rejected, or accepted, keep the history clear. Create a revised estimate when the scope changes materially.
