Agents
Use the Agents workspace to ask questions, review workspace context, approve actions, and continue past conversations.
The Agents workspace is the interactive AI surface for your organization. Use it when you need a conversational answer, a record summary, or a guided action that should stay visible in a thread.
Agents are different from AI workers. Agents are interactive conversations. AI workers are saved, repeatable processes with configured instructions, context sources, tools, and run history.
What You Can Do
Use Agents to:
- ask questions about workspace records;
- summarize customer, project, finance, HRM, file, or workflow context;
- attach files or pasted images for review;
- continue previous threads;
- review generated UI blocks in assistant replies;
- approve or reject gated actions;
- archive threads that no longer need to stay active.
Agent access depends on your role, workspace settings, enabled modules, and configured tools. If an agent cannot see a record, check permissions before assuming the data is missing.
When To Use Agents
Use Agents for investigation, drafting, summarizing, and guided operational review. For repeated work, move the pattern into an AI worker after the prompt has proven useful.
Use source records for final decisions about amounts, statuses, due dates, permissions, and customer commitments. The agent can help you find and summarize information, but the record remains the source of truth.
Review Before Acting
Before using an answer for customer communication, finance, HRM, legal, or external system work, confirm:
- which records the agent referenced;
- whether dates, amounts, and owners match the source record;
- whether any action requires approval;
- whether attached files are the correct versions;
- whether the response created or suggested follow-up work.
